The model 521 316 SS Industrial Process Sampler uses tangential filtration to provide a clean, representative sample without clogging the filter. It features a PTFE filter that allows 90% of the flow to bypass filtration, while 10% flows to the sample outlet. Made from 316 stainless steel and PTFE, it reduces analyzer maintenance and supports processes up to 100°C and 340 kPa. The backflush port extends filter life by simplifying maintenance.

We understand the need for a clean, representative, trouble-free sample for on-line process monitors. Conventional filtering techniques accumulate dirt particles on the filter media until the media clogs and is replaced. The tangential filtration technique used in the model 521, however, passes virtually all of the particulate through the unit untouched.
Bypass sampler with integrated PTFE filter element to provide a filtered sample to a process analyzer. Approximately 90% of process flow bypasses filtration and 10% flows to the sample outlet. Materials: 316 Stainless Steel and PTFE.
